AAHS Policy on Ethics and Professionalism
The American Association for Hand Surgery promotes the ethical practice of surgery and care of the hand through teaching, research, and outreach inclusive to all patients. The AAHS encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion of members, candidate members, trainees, hand therapists and all other hand care professionals. The AAHS expects its members to abide by the highest standards of moral and ethical conduct free of prejudice, bias, criminal intent, dishonesty, industry influence, or legal misrepresentation.
