Job Title: Plastic Surgeon – Hand Surgery
Date Available: 12/8/2022
Location: Richmond, VA
Description: The Department of Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University/VCU Health System is actively recruiting for a full‐time plastic surgeon. This position is an assistant or associate professor, non‐tenured track faculty position in the area of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The faculty member’s primary goal would be to build a robust hand surgery practice and limb salvage reconstruction program.

Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, CAQ eligible or certified. Preference to fellowship training in Hand Surgery. Candidate must have a commitment to resident education and teaching as well as clinical research and innovation. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or
commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
