The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking a BC/BE plastic surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery to join the academic faculty as Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal applicant will have a primary interest in hand and upper extremity surgery with ability to treat both children and adults.
UMMC Plastic Surgery is comprised of six board-certified plastic surgeons practicing the full breadth and depth of the specialty. We are the only Level 1 trauma center, the only academic medical center, and the only children’s hospital in the state, affording our group a very high-volume practice. We currently train two integrated plastic surgery residents and one ACGME hand surgery fellow per year.
Compensation is commensurate with level of training and experience.
