This one-hour webinar brings together expert surgeons to discuss contemporary strategies in upper extremity denervation for pain management and functional restoration. The session will highlight evidence-based techniques, indications, and outcomes for targeted denervation of the digits, wrist, thumb carpometacarpal joint, and elbow. Through focused presentations and case-based insights, attendees will gain a practical understanding of how selective denervation can be integrated into surgical practice to improve patient comfort, and function, as well as enhance quality of life.

Objectives:

Describe the anatomical foundations and key nerve targets involved in denervation procedures for the digits, wrist, thumb base, and elbow.
Evaluate appropriate indications and patient selection criteria for upper extremity denervation in chronic pain conditions, including CMC arthritis and lateral epicondylitis.
Compare surgical approaches and technical nuances across various upper extremity denervation procedures to optimize clinical outcomes and minimize complications.
Apply current evidence, case examples, and decision-making algorithms to incorporate denervation into comprehensive treatment strategies for upper extremity pain.
