COVID-19 UPDATE: During this time of crisis and uncertainty that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused, the American Association for Hand Surgery hopes for the health and safety of all in the hand care community. The Hand Association leadership is continuing to monitor the developments daily on the Coronavirus and the recommendations of the CDC and WHO, along with the policies set by states and institutions. The Central Office is closed and all staff are working virtually. We are unable to accept payments by postal service at this time and encourage member to continue to support the AAHS by making payments online. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay strong.

The American Association for Hand Surgery represents a diverse but cohesive mix of hand surgeons and hand therapists. With a mission to work together to advance global hand care and education, the AAHS continues to grow and expand its programs each year.

Comprised of over 1,400 members including orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general surgeons, microsurgeons, hand therapists, nurses, and basic scientists, the Hand Association is an inclusive organization that welcomes individuals who are interested in joining the organization to fulfill its mission.
