Description: Carle Physician Group, in Urbana, Illinois is seeking a third BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join our Orthopaedics Department.

With 400+ physicians comprising over 80 specialties/subspecialties and a service area of 1.5 million residents, Carle Physician Group is locally owned and physician led. Our group is part of a not-for-profit integrated network of healthcare services that includes Carle Foundation Hospital, a 393-bed Level I Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center as well as 14 branch locations in 9 communities.

Orthopaedic Hand Surgery Practice opportunity details include:

Join a team of two fellowship-trained Ortho-Hand surgeons, three fellowship-trained Ortho Trauma surgeons, two fellowship-trained Ortho Sports surgeons, three fellowship-trained Ortho Adult Reconstruction surgeons, one office-based General Orthopaedic physician in addition to Surgical and office-based Podiatrists
High volume practice with large built-in referral base
Two APPs provide clinical support with rounding/dictation/case management and are on call with the physician from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Benign call schedule
Block surgical time; surgeries done at nearby ambulatory surgery center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital
Enjoy individual clinical autonomy combined with the efficiency of a financially-sound and innovative multispecialty group practice
Air medical transport stationed at Carle Foundation Hospital around the clock with a Carle team on-site and ready for departure within minutes
Academic and research opportunities available at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, coming in 2018.
